The 1^st GI-CoRE Summer School for Radiation Biology was jointly conducted with Radiation Biology School which is one of the courses offered by Hokkaido Summer Institute (HSI) between 1^st-6^th August 2018. The Summer School and HSI welcomed 10 participants from different countries: Taiwan, Nigeria and United Kingdom. HSI-Radiation Biology School was open for graduate students, whereas the GI-CoRE summer school was open for early career researchers such as doctors, physicians, etc. Participants had the rare opportunity to learn from the world’s leading researchers and enjoyed interactive sessions. All the participants successfully completed the course and were awarded a certificate of completion on the last day.
