Call for Poster Abstracts -The 7th GI-CoRE Medical Science and Engineering Symposium-

The 7th GI-CoRE Medical Science and Engineering Symposium will take place on August 18-19, 2019 at Clinical Medicine Lecture Building, School of Medicine, Hokkaido University.

This year, we are pleased to announce that there is a poster session held during the symposium. If you would like to display a presentation at conference and give a short talk about any aspect of your work, you should submit an abstract. We are keen to receive abstracts from all clinicians, young researches and graduate students. This is a great opportunity to present your research and hold discussions with world-renowned researchers.

Deadline for abstract submission: June 28, 2019

<How to submit> Abstracts must be sent to gsq@oia.hokudai.ac.jp Please indicate “Poster Submission – (Your Full name)” in the subject line. <Guidelines for abstracts> Abstract should be in pdf format and no longer than 1 page. An abstract should include the following:
  • Title
  • Author information (Name/Affiliation/Contact information)
  • Introduction
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions
  • Acknowledgements
<Selected Abstract> We will select among submitted abstracts for the poster session. An acceptance notification will be sent via email no later than July 10, 2019. <Poster Preparation> Maximum poster size is 0.9 metre (wide) by 1.8 metre (high). Exhibition boards and amenities for putting up the posters will be provided by the organizer. Printing service is not available on site. Time for presentation: 5 minutes <Award> The poster session at the event will be judged by an expert panel with the winner awarded a special prize.   NOTE Each presenter chosen is responsible for all expenses related to his/her participation in the symposium including transportation and accommodation.
