The 2nd GI-CoRE Summer School for Radiation Biology 2019 Target: Early career researchers in radiation-related biology Period: 19 – 22 August 2019 Program: GI-CoRE Summer School 2019-Radiation Biology_ver4 Tuition fee: Free, but you are expected to play a role as a mentor to help student participants in HSI-Radiation Biology School. Credit: No credit offered Certificate: Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants who complete the course successfully. Language: English Capacity: 30 seats including participants from HSI (This is a preliminary figure and is subject to change.) Application: February 1 (0:00 a.m. Japan Standard Time) to April 1, 2019 (5:00 p.m. Japan Standard Time). APPLICATION PERIOD HAS ENDED. Screening Results: Screening results will be notified to applicants via e-mail by the end of May. Fellowship: Available for limited applicants. This fellowship aims to support and nurture young researchers. ・Coverage of Fellowship: Return flight tickets to/from Sapporo and accommodation for 5 nights (minimum length of stay) ・Award Notification: Selected recipients will be contacted by GSQ** office via e-mail by the end of May. Hokkaido Summer Institute (HSI) 2019 - Radiation Biology School (Official website: http://hokkaidosummerinstitute.oia.hokudai.ac.jp/courses/CourseDetail=G102) Target: Graduate students Period: 19 – 22 August 2019 Program: Hokkaido Summer Institute 2019-Radiation Biology_ver4 Tuition fee: JPY29,600 This fee will be waived for students who enroll in this program as exchange students from Hokkaido University’s partner institutions. Please see HSI website for further details. Credit: 2 Language: English Capacity: 30 seats Application: APPLICATION PERIOD HAS ENDED.
