Winter Seminar 2018 -Medical Physics and Radiation Oncology- on Feb 22
On Thursday February 22, Global Station for Quantum Medical Science and Engineering invites you to attend a winter seminar on "Medical Physics and Radiation Oncology". The first half of the seminar will be led by Prof. Lei Xing, Director of Medical Physics Division of Radiation Oncology Department at Stanford University. Prof. Xing's talk will be titled "Deep Learning for Radiation Therapy Planning". In the latter half of the seminar, Dr. David Grosshans, Associate Professor at Department of Radiation Oncology, Division of Radiation Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, will give us a talk on "Clinical Impact of Proton Therapy". This seminar is highly recommended for those who are interested in radiation therapy and is open to all faculty, staff and students.
