The 1st GI-CoRE Summer School for Radiation Biology 2018 Target: Early career researchers in radiation-related biology Period: 1 – 6 August 2018 Program: SummerSchool2018_RadiationBiology_ver6 Tuition fee: Free, but you are expected to play a role as a mentor to help student participants in HSI-Radiation Biology School. Credit: No credit offered Language: English Capacity: 30 seats including participants from HSI (This is a preliminary figure and is subject to change.) Application: Application period for GI-CoRE Summer School for Radiation Biology 2018 has ended on March 31, 2018. We thank all the applicants for their interest in this summer school. To apply for a place please submit the following to RadiationBiology2018@oia.hokudai.ac.jp 1) Application form (Word): Application for GI-CoRE Summer School 2018(Radiation Biology) Please download the form, fill in and send us together with 2) and 3). 2) CV including research interests (in PDF format, but not in particular style) 3) Abstract of the presentation about your research (approximately 5 minutes in 1 page paper, but not in particular style) NOTE: All participants of this summer school are expected to make a 5-minute oral presentations during the course. Acceptance of the application is from February 1 (0:00 a.m. Japan Standard Time) to March 31, 2018 (5:00 p.m. Japan Standard Time). Screening Results: Screening results will be notified to applicants via e-mail by the end of May. Fellowship: Available for limited applicants Financial Support: In case a researcher from developing countries wishes to apply for the scholarship, he/she will be requested to submit application form and CV and Abstract to the registration office of the Summer School at RadiationBiology2018@oia.hokudai.ac.jp Based on those submitted documents, selected 2 researcher applicants will be granted the scholarship (round-trip flight ticket to/from Sapporo and free accommodation room in Sapporo).
