The GI-CoRE GSQ, GSB & IGM Joint Symposium will be held on July 10-11, 2017. The GSQ has been organizing international symposium every year since 2014 but this time the symposium will cover a wider range of topics, including “Quantum, Informatics, Biology and Medicine”. Collaborating with the Global Station of Big Data and Cybersecurity, Institute of Genetic Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Hokkaido University Hospital, this symposium aims to mark the beginning of the interdisciplinary “Quantum Medicine” study at Hokkaido University. In addition to distinguished experts from Hokkaido University, the symposium will involve world-leading researchers from Stanford University, the University of Technology Sydney, Osaka University, and the National Institutes for Quantum and Radiological and Technology. This symposium is also held as lectures in the Graduate School of Biomedical Science and Engineering.
