Dr. Nam, a visiting researcher of the Laboratory for Molecular and Cellular Dynamics Research of the Global Center for Biomedical Science and Engineering (GCB) (current affiliation: Graduate School of Life Sciences, Kyoto University), won the 2021 Radiation Effects Research Award. This award was given to the GCB research team under the supervision of Prof. Shirato and with the support of the GCB (and GSQ) for their achievements in conducting and publishing research (eligible papers: Int J Nanomedicine 2017, Nat Commun 2018, Cancers 2019, Neuro-Oncol Adv 2020, Commun Biol 2020).
