We are pleased to announce that the Global Center for Biomedical Science and Engineering (GCB) is offering a great opportunity to graduate students and early career researchers to participate in “the 11th GCB Winter School for Medical Physics” or “the 7th GCB Winter School for Molecular Biomedical Science and Diagnosis”, on-site at Hokkaido University this winter.

The 11th GCB Winter School for Medical Physics：
This school will cover the basics of medical physics, particle therapy, RTRT, as well as providing practical trainings for Linac, proton beam therapy and planning system, and will also look at current topics and cutting-edge technologies in medical physics.

The 7th GCB Winter School for Molecular Biomedical Science and Diagnosis：
This school will offer a comprehensive series of lectures on the basics of biomedical science and engineering including radiation molecular biology, molecular imaging, applied studies, experimental methods and more, as well as hands-on training in MRI, nuclear medicine, and biology.

Target Audience： Graduate students, early career researchers, such as medical physicists, clinical physicists, engineers, technologists, trainers and MDs.

Fee： Free of charge 
For early career researchers, as a condition of participation, you are expected to serve as a mentor to support participating students. As a part of this role, you will be asked to give a presentation.

Fellowship：Free hotel accommodation for 6 nights.

Successful applicants will receive free hotel accommodation for 6 nights during the Winter school. Please note that the choice of the hotel/room under the responsibility of the organizer.

※ We will have screenings for both participants and fellowship recipients. The screening results will be notified to applicants individually via email around mid Nov.
