We are pleased to announce that the Global Center for Biomedical Science and Engineering (GCB) is offering a great opportunity to graduate students and young scientists to participate in \u201cthe 10th GCB Summer School for Medical Physics\u201d or \u201cthe 6th GCB Summer School for Molecular Biomedical Science and Diagnosis\u201d, jointly with Hokkaido Summer Institute (HSI), on-site at Hokkaido University this summer.<\/p>

The 10th GCB Summer School for Medical Physics\uff1a<\/u><\/strong> The 6th GCB Summer School for Molecular Biomedical Science and Diagnosis\uff1a<\/u><\/strong> --------------------------------<\/p> Date<\/strong>\uff1a Monday, August 21st \u2013 Friday, August 25th, 2023<\/p> Place<\/strong>\uff1a School of Medicine, Hokkaido University<\/p> Programs<\/strong>\uff1a \u3010MP<\/a>\u3011\u3010MB<\/a>\u3011<\/p> Language<\/strong>\uff1a English<\/p> Target Audience<\/strong>\uff1a Graduate students, early career researchers, such as medical physicists, clinical physicists, engineers, technologists, trainers and MDs.<\/p> Fee<\/strong>\uff1a 29,600 JPY for students. Fellowship<\/strong>\uff1a This fellowship is designed to offset the cost of travel\/accommodation. How to apply<\/strong>\uff1a The application procedure varies between Hokkaido Summer Institute (HSI) for graduate students and GCB Summer School for early career researchers, such as medical physicists, clinical physicists, engineers, technologists, trainers, and MDs. \u203b<\/p> \u2606 If you\u2019re a student at Hokkaido University, please apply from HSI<\/a>.<\/p> \u2606\u2605 For graduate students, please apply from both HSI<\/a>\u00a0and also <GCB form><\/a>.<\/p>
In addition to current topics in Medical Physics, this school will provide online demonstrations to introduce cutting-edge and practical technologies.<\/p>
This school will give a comprehensive series of lectures on the basics of biomedical science and engineering, such as radiation molecular biology, molecular imaging, applied studies, and experimental methods.<\/p>
Free for others, but you are expected to play a role as a mentor to help participating students as this course is offered as a part of the Hokkaido Summer Institute program. As a part of your role, you will be required to give a presentation.<\/p>
Successful applicants will receive an average Fellowship grant up to JPY100,000 depending on where they travel from.
Anyone can apply for the fellowship, but preference will be given to current students who apply through Hokkaido Summer Institute (HSI). \u203b<\/p>
